PROJECT: INDIGENOUS HISTORY - STAMP DESIGNS

A project where I was tasked to design stamps of Canada's greatest Indigenous people with major historical impact. I’ve decided to go with this comic-styled design of Canada’s greatest Indigenous people that made large contributions in the War of 1812. This concept was made since I wanted to do something that hasn’t been done yet. When I researched designs for stamps in Canada, majority of the designs had use of realism and accurate portrayals of these people. I wanted to go for the more artistic feel to portray these legends.
